Terms of Service

By installing, accessing or using SelfAI – AI Headshot Generator (the "App"), the SelfAI Web App at https://app.selfaiphoto.com or the website at https://www.selfai.life (together, the "Services"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

The Services are operated by Rocket Digital Limited, 1603, The L Plaza, 367–375 Queens Road Central, Hong Kong ("we", "us", "our").

You must be at least 13 years old (or the higher minimum age required by your country) to use SelfAI. By using the Services, you confirm that you meet this age requirement and that you are legally allowed to enter into a binding contract.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity on your account. Notify us immediately at hello@rocketdigital.ai if you suspect unauthorized use.

SelfAI is an AI Headshot Generator and AI Photo Studio that turns selfies you upload into AI-generated headshot images. Outputs are concepts: they may vary depending on the original photo, lighting, pose, image quality and style chosen. You are responsible for reviewing every output before using it for professional profiles, business pages, CVs, résumés, dating profiles or personal branding.

We do not guarantee that any specific output will be suitable for a specific use case, platform or context.

You retain ownership of the selfies and portrait photos you upload ("Your Content"). By uploading, you grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to process Your Content for the sole purpose of providing the Services — for example, sending the photo to AI inference providers to generate AI headshots.

You confirm that you have the right to upload Your Content and that you have any necessary consents from people shown in the photo.

You must not upload photos of other people without their consent, photos of minors that you do not have parental authority over, or content that is illegal, defamatory, hateful, sexually explicit involving minors, or that infringes anyone's rights.

AI-generated headshots ("Outputs") are produced by AI models from your input photo and the style you choose. As permitted by law, you are free to use the Outputs for personal and professional purposes, subject to these Terms. You must not misrepresent another person or use Outputs to defame, deceive or commit fraud.

Because AI outputs are probabilistic, similar outputs may be generated for different users. We make no warranty of uniqueness, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement of Outputs.

SelfAI may offer paid subscriptions or one-off in-app purchases. Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store, Google Play or RevenueCat, depending on platform. They auto-renew until cancelled in your store account.

Refunds are handled according to the policy of the store where you purchased the subscription.

You agree not to (a) reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code from the Services, (b) use the Services to build a competing product, (c) abuse, harass, threaten or impersonate other people, (d) attempt to bypass usage limits or security features, or (e) use the Services in violation of applicable law.

SelfAI relies on third-party services including RevenueCat, Firebase, Google AdMob, OpenAI, Microsoft Azure, Replicate, Fal.ai, Google Analytics, Meta Pixel and Vercel Analytics. Your use of those services may also be governed by their own terms. See our Privacy Policy for details.

The SelfAI name, logo, app design and underlying software are owned by Rocket Digital Limited or licensed to it. Except for the license to use the Services granted to you in these Terms, no other rights are transferred.

The Services and Outputs are provided "as is" and "as available", to the maximum extent permitted by law, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rocket Digital Limited and its directors, officers, employees and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data or use, arising from your use of the Services.

You can stop using the Services at any time and delete your account from inside the app. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or misuse the Services.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When changes are material, we will update the "Last updated" date below and, where appropriate, notify you in-app. Continued use of the Services after changes means you accept them.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong SAR, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong, unless local consumer protection laws say otherwise.
