SelfAI – AI Headshot Generator ("SelfAI", "the app", "we", "us") is operated by Rocket Digital Limited, a company registered in Hong Kong at 1603, The L Plaza, 367–375 Queens Road Central, Hong Kong. For any privacy-related question, contact hello@rocketdigital.ai.

This policy covers https://www.selfai.life, the SelfAI mobile apps on iOS and Android, and the SelfAI Web App at https://app.selfaiphoto.com. It explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how it is processed and who we share it with.

Photos you upload. To generate AI headshots, the app needs the selfies you choose to upload. Photos are processed by our AI inference partners (see Section 5) and are not used to train third-party general-purpose models.

Account information. If you create an account, we store an account identifier, email address and basic profile details.

Subscription and purchase data. Subscription status, purchase identifiers and entitlement data are processed via RevenueCat to manage your in-app purchases and subscriptions.

Technical data. App version, device type, operating system, language, crash logs and usage events. We use this to keep the app stable and improve features.

Marketing and analytics identifiers. Cookies, pixels and advertising identifiers used by Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Google AdMob and Vercel Analytics to understand how the site and app are used.

To provide the core AI Headshot Generator service — generating, displaying and storing your AI headshots.

To process subscriptions, purchases and customer support requests.

To improve product quality, fix bugs and prevent abuse.

To measure marketing performance and serve relevant ads, subject to your consent where required.

To meet our legal and tax obligations.

RevenueCat — subscription management and entitlements.

Firebase (Google) — authentication, crash reporting and app infrastructure.

Google AdMob — mobile advertising in free tiers of the app.

OpenAI — AI processing for selected features.

Microsoft Azure — cloud infrastructure and AI services for selected features.

Replicate — AI model inference for generating headshot results.

Fal.ai — AI model inference for generating headshot results.

Google Analytics (GA4) — website and app analytics.

Meta Pixel — marketing analytics and ad measurement.

Vercel Analytics — privacy-friendly first-party site analytics, including custom events such as iOS_App_Store_Click and GooglePlay_Store_Click.

Each provider acts as a processor or independent controller depending on the service. They may process data in countries outside your own. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent transfer mechanisms.

Photos you upload are sent to AI inference providers (such as Replicate, Fal.ai, Microsoft Azure and OpenAI) only for the purpose of generating your headshots. We do not sell your photos. We do not use your photos to train general-purpose third-party AI models. Generated outputs are stored so you can access them within your account and may be cached for performance.

On our website we use first-party cookies and the following third-party tools: Google Analytics (NEXT_PUBLIC_GA_MEASUREMENT_ID), Meta Pixel (NEXT_PUBLIC_META_PIXEL_ID) and Vercel Analytics. Where local law requires opt-in (e.g. GDPR/UK GDPR), we will request consent before non-essential tracking runs.

Custom events we track include iOS_App_Store_Click, GooglePlay_Store_Click and Web_App_Click so we can understand which platform users prefer.

SelfAI is not directed at children under 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us, contact hello@rocketdigital.ai and we will delete it.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact hello@rocketdigital.ai. EU/UK users may also lodge a complaint with their local data protection authority.

We keep your personal data only as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy or as required by law. You can delete your account and associated headshot history from inside the app at any time.

We use industry-standard administrative, technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure — but we work continuously to keep your data safe.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date below and, where appropriate, notify you in-app.
